Numerous Times
Inside Stories. Outside Proof. Independent business news
What it does
A business publication for decision-makers. Operators, founders, and investors writing what they actually do. Most business news is filtered through editorial boards, corporate ownership, or slow newsroom processes. Numerous Times flips that: it's an open publishing platform where any writer or journalist can publish directly - no gatekeepers, no approval queue, no editorial hierarchy. Content is build to be shared for writers, it means a place to publish business journalism without approval.

The math is brutal — and rarely done. Three partners on what conviction actually looks like in a first meeting. The funding rounds nobody is announcing are reshaping who actually owns the next decade. This week we publish three pieces that all argue, in different ways, that the most important business decisions are the ones nobody is writing about yet. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
