What it does
I built olud.ai because choosing an AI tool meant opening fifteen tabs. It tracks 10,296 open-source AI projects and 350+ models in one place: daily health scores, star velocity, live API prices, licences, and which open-source project can replace a paid product. Plus 4,800 head-to-head model comparisons. Everything is measured, not curated. Free, no account, no ads, no tracking — I count pages, not people. Maintainers can claim their page and see its audience.

Hi! My OpenAI costs started going up recently and I hated how I couldn't figure out which model was costing me more? The OpenAI usage page (https://platform.openai.com/account/usage) gives a nice overall breakdown, but it doesn't go into detail about cost / model, token usage, and # requests. So I reverse engineered their API to make a better dashboard, and then made it free to use. Try it out and let me know what you think. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy.
