OnAir

Your meetings, always visible

OnAir launched on April 6, 2026.

What it does

OnAir puts a live countdown to your next meeting right in your Mac menu bar with a dramatic audio cue before it starts, one-key meeting join, a full day timeline, and a built-in focus timer. Free, open source, and installs with a single brew command.

A menu bar companion for macOS that keeps you ahead of your calendar. Focus timer, auto-join, conflict alerts, and smart nudges. Free. 2 MB. No account.

A menu bar companion that keeps you ahead of your calendar. Focus timer, auto-join, conflict alerts, and smart nudges — one click from the top of your screen. It asks for calendar permission on first launch. That is the only setup. Your next meeting shows up in the menu bar. Click when you need more. Calendar-aware pomodoro. Sees your next meeting in 47 minutes, suggests a 40-minute deep work block. Tracks focus stats. Detects Zoom, Meet, and Teams links. A green "Join" button appears 5 minutes before. One click. Overlapping meetings get flagged. The menu bar shows both when they're about to collide. Color-coded meter (green to red) shows your load. Smart nudges for back-to-back meetings…from chaiovercode.com

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
