One Picture
If you could only take a single picture – which would it be?
One Picture launched on October 18, 2017 with 4 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 9 years on.
What it does
We are drowning in media. On our phones, in messengers and networks. Each day we process 10k pictures and we upload 5 billion photos worldwide to different platforms. We photograph everything, everybody and all the time. The goal of One Picture is to find out if we can limit ourselves radically in our self-portrayal. By only taking one picture.
