OneMount

Map SharePoint & OneDrive to File Explorer

What it does

OneMount mounts SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business as a network drive in Windows File Explorer — libraries of any size, even multi-terabyte ones. Files open directly from the cloud, instantly, without syncing. Word and Excel keep real co-authoring, AutoSave and version history. Install and sign in — no Azure app registration, no admin consent required. Works on Windows 10/11 with a Microsoft 365 work account.

OneMount mounts SharePoint Online and OneDrive document libraries as Windows network drives — no sync, no local copies, no Azure app registrations. 14-day free trial.

Files open straight from the cloud — no sync, no local copies, no disk space used. Two minutes from install to ready drives, with zero configuration in your tenant. Your regular corporate sign-in; OneMount finds sites and libraries for you. Drives are already in File Explorer; the trial starts automatically. No app registrations in your tenant — OneMount works in any Microsoft 365 organization. Files live in the cloud and open instantly. Zero disk space used, no hours-long initial download. Stable with libraries of millions of files — right where classic sync gives up. Word and Excel open directly as cloud documents: co-authoring and AutoSave work, no "conflicted copies". Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
