I worked for 2 years as a maths tutor and I noticed, there is a high demand worldwide. Mathematics is crucial for STEM majors, but also for Finance & Accounting. It's a good opportunity for maths tutors to make money. It's also good for students, because of lower price. Each maths tutor has more time for each students, because no travel time.
