Your iPhone collects millions of health data points but they're locked in a huge export.xml. Open Health turns that export into seven markdown files any LLM can read. Drop your zip in the browser, run the CLI, or beam it from your phone via WebRTC. Paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or a local model and ask real questions about your training and recovery. Everything runs locally — no upload, no server, no telemetry. MIT licensed, fully open source.

Hey HN, This is an MCP server to chat with Apple Health data. I built it because I'm working on (yet another) personal trainer tool that keeps track of my workout goals, etc. and does scheduling for me. Part of that is weekly check-ins. I thought pairing those check-ins with sensor data could be useful, so here we are. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it.
