Open-Sourced AI CLI Tool
I’ve been working on Code2Docs, an open-source CLI tool that helps developers automatically generate inline documentation (docstrings + comments) for Python code using AI. It’s built to solve a common problem I’ve faced (and seen often in teams): We code by "vibe" — fast iterations, minimal docs, and then forget what the logic was months later. Code2Docs helps bridge that gap by documenting as you go — without breaking your flow. Right now it supports function-level documentation. Planned features include: - README.md generation for projects - API endpoint docs - Database schema…

DeepDocs2025 · deepdocs.dev · ▲132In my 15+ years as a developer, one of the most frustrating problems I've seen across teams is outdated documentation. I’ll be honest, I skip it myself. You ship a feature and move on. Then a month later, someone is onboarding or debugging and runs into stale docs that no longer reflect the code. I tried fixing this with tools like Swagger and Sphinx-autodoc, but they only work for narrow use cases like OpenAPI or annotations. They don’t help with the high-level stuff like onboarding tutorials, SDK guides, or user-facing examples. You still have to keep things like docstrings in sync, and…

My Attempt to Organize the World of AI Dev Tools2025 · aicode.danvoronov.com · ▲101I've been exploring the (not so=) amazing potential of AI in coding and have compiled a list of tools. From AI-powered IDEs to code generators, this resource is my contribution to the community. I'm still on the fence about including txt2sql projects, as their functionality seems too basic to me. And I'm personally maintaining this, so your feedback is wellcome.

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
