    Open-source user onboarding and KYC flow made with Svelte (~50kb)2022 · github.com · ▲254

Hi everyone, We’re building an open-source identity and risk management platform and we’ve just released the first chunk of code, a fully customizable KYC flow & UI, to the public. We’ve chosen to use Svelte so our flows would be lightweight (it is ~50kb gzipped). Next up: - Adding forms and components for it to be used as a full onboarding flow. - Releasing an open-source case management dashboard, for manual approval of users. - Releasing an open-source rule engine, to help automate decisions. We’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or any question you’ve got. And if the rest of the…

    Open-source case management for KYC/B (built-in OCR, face matching ML)2022 · backoffice-demo.ballerine.app · ▲44

Hi everyone, We have just released an open-source case management dashboard for manually approving/rejecting KYC requests (know your customer) with built-in OCR & face-matching functionalities. Next steps: - Enable KYB (business onboarding) documents and personas approval. - Connected backend between our KYC flow and the case management dashboard. - Releasing an open-source rule engine, to help automate decisions. We’d love for you to try it out, give us feedback, and suggest features that would make it applicable to you. And if the rest of the project is relevant or interesting to you,…

    We built an open-source LaunchDarkly alternative for B2Bs2023 · enrolla.io · ▲114

Hey HN, Nir, Gal and Tomer here. Last week, we open-sourced Enrolla (https://github.com/enrolla/enrolla) - feature management for SaaS companies. It makes it easy for developers to control how their product behaves for customers in different pricing tiers. So things like which features are enabled for whom, rate limits and seat limits, but also your customer secrets (with end-to-end encryption), and other configurations. After 15 years of working together at various companies, where we rebuilt the same SaaS foundation layer again and again - we wanted to create something…

Refinery – Data anonymization and governance for the masses2020 · ▲11

https://www.openquery.io/refinery We are Christos, Damien and Nodar, founders of OpenQuery. We are building Refinery, an Open Source deployment written in Rust to automate the process of anonymizing sensitive data and governing how different consumers access that data using our 'policy-as-code' framework (It's based on Hashicorp's HCL). We noticed that companies have been solving the same problem over and over in different ways. The problem boils down to giving a data-consumer (this could be an analyst, a BI tool, an ML workflow, a different company etc. ) access to a…

Hello, HN - I wanted to share this puzzle game I made during my vacation. I'm rather fond of the pipes puzzle where your goal is to restore a scrambled network of connections by rotating tiles. It's usually played on a grid of squares and this all started when I decided to make a programmatic solver for that kind of puzzle. Then I realized that with some minor changes the solver could generate new puzzle instances. I thought about what kind of puzzle to make and someone suggested a hexagonal grid. Adapting the generator wasn't too hard but then I had to create a way to play this variant. So…

We're building Parsnip to create a "tech tree" of cooking skills that allows anyone to level up on the building blocks of cooking knowledge while tracking their progress over time. It took us a few iterations to figure out the right product; here's the story of our latest pivot: [https://parsnip.substack.com/p/a-new-hope] The goal is to create a personalized way to learn any recipe on the Internet, then use this as a springboard to help home cooks of all levels solve the problem of repeated meal planning in a 10x better way:…
