What it does
Most of us don’t want to pay $8 for Wisprflow or Superwhisper and then sit around waiting each week for credits to reset. So I built OpenWhisper, an open‑source alternative with no subscriptions and no account creation—just bring your own provider like Groq, ElevenLabs, or Deepgram with an API key. Their free tiers are generous and reset monthly, and in practice I’ve never hit a limit. Give it a try—and yes, all your transcriptions stay on your device.
