What it does

OrbitMap.space is a live interactive 3D map that lets you explore over 15,000 satellites orbiting Earth in real-time. Watch satellites move, get pass notifications, and even "fly along" with them. A fun and educational way to experience the growing orbital ecosystem around our planet. Currently adding a space blog and product recommendations (telescopes, books & more). Made for space enthusiasts, students, and curious minds.

Track the ISS, Hubble, Tiangong, and more in a live 3D orbital map. Real-time positions from public TLE data, plus visible-pass predictions for your exact location — free, no signup.

We pull live Two-Line Element (TLE) data from CelesTrak , a trusted public catalog used by NASA and astronomers worldwide. Using the industry-standard SGP4/SDP4 model, positions are computed continuously in your browser. Interactive globe, sky view, and pass predictions — all running locally for speed and privacy. See it live in the app . Yes! The live 3D tracker and all core features are completely free with no signup required. Very accurate for casual and educational use. Positions are calculated from public TLE data and updated regularly. Not intended for professional navigation or safety-critical decisions.   Hey HN! I made Orbit, an iOS app that allows you to see the satellites, planets, and constellations above you in AR, on a 2D map, and on a 3D globe. The app includes more than 15,000 objects tracked by CelesTrack, together with their pass predictions, descriptions, and detailed orbital data. A searchable catalog of all objects is also available, as well as a built-in chatbot designed to answer any space-related questions you might have.
