Orite

Give your AI Agent money. Not a blank check.

What it does

AI agents can already shop, book, and research on their own but the moment one needs to pay, every existing system assumes a human clicks approve. Nobody built for agents. Orite fixes that. Set spending limits once Orite enforces them on every transaction, automatically. Stay within budget, it just happens. Go over, it's blocked or held for a quick yes/no. Every payment logged, always explainable. Works wherever you build your agent. This is day one of AI having its own money.

Before an AI agent can spend money or take action, someone has to trust it. Orite provides the identity, controls, approvals, and oversight needed to safely deploy autonomous agents.

Orite provides the identity, controls, approvals, and oversight needed to safely deploy autonomous agents. Know who an agent is, who owns it, and what it is allowed to do. Define budgets, policies, and approval requirements before money moves. Monitor activity in real time and understand how trust evolves over time. The foundation for deploying agents that can spend money, access services, and take actions on behalf of your organization. Create a trusted identity for every agent. Every agent should have a clear owner, purpose, permissions, and accountability before it can take action. Increase autonomy with confidence. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
