What it does
OutageDeck tracks 172 cloud and SaaS vendors from official feeds, with alerts, history, a free JSON API, and an MCP server your agents can query. Paid accounts can add private Statuspage or Instatus providers, including their own products: no crowdsourcing or scraping.
Pick the cloud and SaaS vendors you depend on and get one live answer from their official status feeds. No account needed, and the result is a shareable link.
One link confirms your address and turns them on. No password or card. Each row is that vendor's own published status. The check time and direct source link stay visible so you can verify it yourself. Straight from each vendor's own incident feed, newest update first. Up to 12 providers. Nothing is saved; the selection lives in the link. OutageDeck re-reads the official status feed of all 180 tracked providers about every 10 minutes and stores what it finds. This board simply shows you the subset you chose. Green means none of those vendors has acknowledged an incident in its official feed. Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
