PageSieve[1] is a browser extension for scraping data from different websites from within your browser. The ideal use case is when some data you need is useful but you don't want to spend the effort of writing a one-off script to extract it especially nowadays when a lot of websites need an entire JavaScript environment to load correctly which complicates scraping. Using this extension means you only need to maintain the selectors for extracting the data and don't need to worry about managing dependencies. As long as the website can be opened in your browser you should be able to scrape data from it using the extension. I have a lot of features planned as well as some rough edges that need smoothing. I use this extension nearly everyday and I hope it can make somebody else's work easier. Take a look and let me know what you think. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
