PageToChat: Talk to Any Web Page
I built PageToChat, a Chrome extension that lets you invoke an LLM from any page via the right-click menu. What’s different: it doesn’t sell credits. It just opens your chosen provider in a new tab, selects the right model, fills your prompt, and uploads attachments-using the LLM account you already have. Why? Most “AI from any page” tools proxy your data or make you buy credits. I wanted something transparent that: - stays in your browser, - uses the official provider UI, - and doesn’t require another wallet of tokens. How it works 1. Right-click -> PageToChat. 2. A sidebar appears where…

What it does
PageToChat is a Chrome extension that lets you send any page, selection, image, Gmail conversation or Twitter/X thread straight to your own ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini account. No extra credits, subscriptions or proxy - just use the plan you already pay for. Right-click, pick a quick action, review attachments in the sidebar and we open the LLM tab, fill the prompt, attach the content and can even auto-submit.
Right‑click to send any page, selection, or image to your favorite LLM. Use your own accounts — no extra credits required.
Right‑click → pick a provider/model → we open a new tab, fill the prompt and upload the attachments for you. You keep using the models available in your account — no tokens routed through us. PageToChat doesn’t resell tokens or sit between you and the model. It simply opens the provider’s site in a new tab, selects the model you chose, fills your prompt, and uploads any attachments automatically. You keep full control of plans, models, and history in your provider account. Open the sidebar from any page, selection, or image. Choose provider, model, prompt and attachments; hit Send. Automatically include a page screenshot, raw HTML, clean text, current selection, or the image you clicked —…from pagetochat.com

I built a free in-browser Llama 3 chatbot powered by WebGPU2024 · github.com · ▲547I spent the last few days building out a nicer ChatGPT-like interface to use Mistral 7B and Llama 3 fully within a browser (no deps and installs). I’ve used the WebLLM project by MLC AI for a while to interact with LLMs in the browser when handling sensitive data but I found their UI quite lacking for serious use so I built a much better interface around WebLLM. I’ve been using it as a therapist and coach. And it’s wonderful knowing that my personal information never leaves my local computer. Should work on Desktop with Chrome or Edge. Other browsers are adding WebGPU support as well - see…
ScrollDec 2025 · chromewebstore.google.com · ▲93I kept losing ideas in long chats, so I built a tiny Chrome extension to make navigating between turns/prompts way easier. Idk why this isn't a native feature on all LLMs. Anyway, free and open source on GitHub or the Chrome Store. Hope it's helpful! Community, All the HN belong to you. This is an archive of hacker news that fits in your browser. When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
