Pannly: ideas refunded if you ship

Validated startup ideas. Refunded if you actually ship.

What it does

Pannly is a curated archive of startup ideas where real people, in public, said they would pay for it. Each one comes with a structured brief: pain analysis, evidence quotes with source links, named buyer personas, a 3-step validation plan, and ready-to-paste landing copy. $3 to unlock. Ship within 30 days and the $3 returns to your card automatically. Public ledger on the site for every refund. For builders tired of shipping things nobody asked for.

Me and my buddy made $20 with a Stripe link and a Tweet2023 · ▲7

Hi there, So a buddy a couple of days ago came up with the idea for a new SaaS product regarding gpt and image generation. We did a quick MVP that barely works, it breaks almost 50% of the time but we still wanted to validate the idea before going all in. We have almost 1k followers on Twitter together. Did a quick post describing the idea with a stripe link in the comments with a 5$ value, no landing page, and no shipped product. In exchange, the buyers become beta users. Around 30 mins later we got our first sale next 30 mins another 5$ and so on. Do we consider the idea validated? The…

    I accidentally built a startup idea validation tool2025 · validationly.com · ▲15

I was working on validating some of my own project ideas. While trying to find how to validate my idea, I realized the process itself could be turned into a tool. A few late nights later, I had something that takes any startup idea, fetches discussions, summarizes sentiment, and gives a quick “validation score.” It’s very rough, but it works, and it’s already making me rethink a few of my own ideas. It's still a work in progress. I don't actually know what I'm doing, but I know it's worth it. Honest feedback welcomed! Live demo here: https://validationly.com/

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
