Pantheon-MCP

Hi all, since I began building with agentic systems, I kept copying and sharing Markdown-based agent definitions across projects and devices. Syncing was a pain. So I built Pantheon MCP, a server that always provides the latest versions of an agent definition from a collection of currently 42 agents. Now I have to only add the MCP server to a new project and everyone on the project gets the same agent definitions all the time. In addition, using it allows the system to choose dynamically the correct agent based on the task at hand. I’ve been running it internally — now I’m releasing it…

Pantheon-MCP launched on September 25, 2025 with 11 votes, #1,008 of 8,160 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.

What it does

Stop copying outdated markdown agent files. Pantheon-MCP auto-matches tasks with tailored agent definitions (name, description, instructions) so your AI agents always run with the right context—no manual syncing needed.

Not just a directory, but a hall of legendary entities - your agents.

Hi HN, Luigi here. We maintain mcp-use an open-source TypeScript framework for building MCP servers and MCP Apps: https://github.com/mcp-use/mcp-use MCP is now (finally) stateless so we rewrote mcp-use v2 from scratch for the 2026-07-28 MCP spec revision: https://blog.modelcontextprotocol.io/posts/2026-07-28/ Thanks to the rebuild: - Throughput: +27% → from 8,615 to 10,982 median ops/sec - Cold launch: 2.2x faster → from 151.6 ms to 68.1 ms - Clean install: 82% smaller → from 404.6 MiB to 74.4 MiB Benchmark with methodology here:…

  • The site hit #1 on HN about a year ago. Got enough traffic that I turned it into a proper API. What's there: - REST API — 35k products, manually filterable by category, free key, 60 req/min - CLI — npx anycrap random -c food - faker.js plugin — bundled, no API call, works offline - HuggingFace dataset — full 35k rows for ML/training https://anycrap.shop/developers

  • I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
