What it does
Une galerie pour vos artistes en herbePastel turns the drawings your kids bring home into a private online gallery — one per child, kept for life. Snap a photo and grandparents follow along with a single link (no app, no account). Turn the best ones into print-ready posters. Free & ad-free.
A gallery for your budding artists
Snap a photo of a drawing and it joins your child's gallery in seconds. Years later, you rediscover every stage of their creativity, perfectly intact. Give your loved ones the easiest way to keep up with every work by their little artists. One link to send, and the family bond grows stronger around each drawing. Thank you to YouTuber MamFlower , who explains the Pastel concept perfectly. Do subscribe to her channel ! It takes less than a minute to create your first gallery. The first drawings, though, you'll keep forever. Bring your children’s drawings to life and create as many posters as youfrom pastelfamily.com

I made a web app to bring children's drawings to life2024 · doodledreams.cc · ▲242Hey HN! I used to spend hours drawing all kind of things as a kid. Sadly though, those drawings are long gone. Inspired by this, I created DoodleDreams. A webapp that brings drawings to life using AI and stores them as memories. You can always look back at the drawings, see who made them, and even know the age they were drawn at. I thought it was a fun way to preserve those memories. What do you think? Viktor

Clipto MCP▲655Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
