PDFolio
PDF work that stays with you
What it does
PDF edit online with free, private browser tools. Crop PDF pages, use a PDF compressor, convert JPG to PDF, and more—your files stay on your device.
Free browser tools to organize, edit, convert, and protect sensitive documents without uploading them. PDFolio has no upload queue. The browser hands your selected files to a dedicated Worker and returns the result for download. PDFolio is a free, browser-based workspace for the PDF tasks people actually need to finish. When you search for pdf edit , the job is often not rewriting a paragraph in a contract. It is combining pages, removing a blank sheet, rotating a scan, adding a watermark, cropping an edge, filling a form, or preparing a clean copy to share. PDFolio keeps those jobs focused and private: your document is processed in the browser tab on your device, with no account, upload…from thepdfolio.com

I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
