Perimeter
Check your site's TLS, headers, DNS and accessibility
What it does
Most website problems stay invisible until they cost you: a certificate quietly expires because auto-renewal broke, a deploy drops a security header, a redesign ships images with no alt text. Perimeter checks four things in one scan and grades them — TLS certificate, security headers, DNS/email auth (SPF/DMARC), and WCAG accessibility. Free, no signup. Paid plans re-check daily, alert you when something breaks, and show how to fix each finding. Compliance adds a dated, auditor-ready report.
Free instant check of your site
Free instant check of your TLS certificate , security headers , DNS/email authentication and accessibility (WCAG) — the four things a security or compliance review always flags. No signup. Checks the certificate expiry & chain, HSTS/CSP and other headers, DMARC/SPF/CAA, and common WCAG failures (missing alt text, unlabeled fields, zoom blocking). Read-only, from the outside — exactly what an attacker, auditor, or ADA plaintiff's lawyer sees. After the free check, Perimeter watches your domains every day — here's what you get inside. Certificates expire. A deploy drops a header. DNS gets edited. Perimeter re-checks every day and emails you the moment something regresses — before your…from perimeter.getunlogged.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
