Phrased
Stop overthinking, start vibe texting.
What it does
Most AI reply apps make you screenshot chats and switch apps — and they're built for dating, serving lines that sound like a clown trying too hard. Phrased is the first app built for general texting — suggestions personalized to you, learned from your real past texts so replies actually sound like you. A floating bubble sits over any chat, reads the conversation on screen, and serves four vibe-matched replies — casual, warm, witty, direct. None fit? Type the gist and Phrased phrases it for you.
Phrased reads the vibe and helps you reply in your own voice. Stop overthinking texts - pick from four tone-matched suggestions or describe what you mean and let Phrased phrase it. Android, now on Google Play.
The DMs you leave on read for three days, hoping they forget. The ones that make you put the phone down, and pick it up again twenty minutes later. Every thread has them. The ones with no hook, no clear question, no path forward. The ones that make you put the phone down, pick it up, and stare again twenty minutes later. Tap the bubble. Watch four tone-matched replies fan out. Pick the one that feels like you — it drops straight into your chat input. Same flow at brunch with Alex and in Slack with your team. Scroll to watch the register change. Type the gist in any words — sloppy, fragmented, whatever's in your head. Phrased turns it into the right sentence for the moment. The four…from phrased.app

I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
