What it does

Live wallpapers for Mac, generated on your own GPU. 12 shapes, 10 dither styles, your own palettes, still or animated. One payment, no subscription.

Your Mac makes them itself, dithered live on your own GPU, drifting slowly behind your icons, and yours to keep the moment one looks right. Each one is a shape, a palette, a dither and a seed. That is over a hundred thousand before you touch a single dial, and every one of them keeps moving. Shuffle until something stops you, then keep that one. Freeze any single frame as your desktop picture, or let it keep drifting behind your icons at a speed you choose. Drop in a photo and it dithers that instead. A small handle sits on the edge of your screen: click it and the editor opens, no Dock icon, no window in the way. Sandboxed, no account, no analytics, and nothing about you leaves your Mac.…from pixelsoup.app
