Plexavo
Find AWS security holes before they find you
What it does
Scans your AWS account for misconfigurations and privilege escalation paths, then hands back a plain-English report (HTML/PDF) with the exact fix not a wall of unreadable JSON. Runs on your own local credentials, zero telemetry. Open source. A streamlined AWS security scanner designed for effortless setup and execution. No need to memorize commands or flags !! Cloud Security Simplified.
Plexavo audits your AWS account for IAM risks, exposed storage, and privilege escalation - free, open-source, and fully auditable.
Plexavo scans for misconfigurations and privilege-escalation paths — open-source core, runs on your own credentials, no black box between you and the findings. Point Plexavo at an AWS profile and it walks IAM, storage, logging, and networking for misconfigurations — including privilege-escalation chains most scanners don't chain together. The core is AGPL-3.0 and public, so every check is something you can read before you trust it. No sales calls. No black-box agent running with standing access to your account. Auditing an AWS estate without paying for a platform you can't inspect, or waiting on a vendor's roadmap for a check you could write yourself. Who want a fast, scriptable misconfig…from plexavo.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
