Poker Night

Run your home poker league without the spreadsheet

What it does

Poker Night is a mobile-first scorekeeper for private Texas Hold'em groups. Track every buy-in and rebuy, select first and second, calculate payouts automatically, and carry results into season standings. Each league has its own private players and history. It records the game—it never handles money.

A mobile-first home poker league tracker for buy-ins, rebuys, prize splits, winners and season standings—without the spreadsheet.

Buy-ins, rebuys, payouts and season bragging rights — handled from one phone while the cards are still on the table. No miniature full-page screenshots. These are the views you actually use: count the pot, settle first and second, then watch the whole league update. Every buy-in feeds the prize pool. Pick the split without touching a calculator. Mark first and second. Their payouts are already calculated and ready to share. Points, wins and real profit roll straight into the league standings. Your leader, games played, active players and total buy-ins stay readable at a glance. Tap in every initial buy-in and rebuy while the game is running. Choose your split and the winner and runner-up…from poker.mmeapp.com.au

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
