Portrit.com - My Visual Facebook Experience
It's been four months of hacking and now I am ready to show the world Portrit. Portrit brings you your Facebook friends in visual experience. Portrit is all about your friends photos and making the Facebook experience cleaner, quicker, and more fun. Create a account at http://portrit.com/create_account/ Use the key HN. Limited supply! Partially inspired by recent discussions on HN and other places. I've made a single-focus site to introduce your friends/colleagues/neighbours/family to RSS and web feeds. https://www.youneedfeeds.com/ The site is meant to give the elevator pitch for feeds, show a newbie what feeds are and how to use them, set them up with a reader, and give them some nice starter content if they want it. So much tastemaking and newsmaking power is concentrated in the hands of Facebook/Reddit/Twitter, but I'm convinced it's because much of the general populace doesn't…
- WDWhat do you think of my new social app?2022 · oncircles.com · ▲76

Instead I received a professional, detailed deck of tons of invaluable well thought out feedback. It must have taken her an entire afternoon. Here's a link to it: http://www.slideshare.net/shereefb/recommendations-for-bettermeans To top it off, this isn't someone with a lot of free time on her hands, she's only days away from launching her own startup (page99test) This community blows my mind!

Here's the website: http://markup.io/ We created MarkUp at Medium to help make the QA process better for sites we're working on. Grab the MarkUp bookmarklet, go to some page in your browser, then click it to draw on the page. Publish to make a link you can share. We've tried similar tools like BounceApp, Notable, and Skitch. Everything else we found is screenshot-based or takes us out of the browser. We wanted something that felt quicker than screenshots and more integrated with the browsing experience. Instead of taking a screenshot, MarkUp snapshots the DOM in the current page, strips the…
