Prebake
A straightforward Developer Platform for Kubernetes
What it does
Prebake is a new Open Source project that turns bare Kubernetes clusters into Developer Platforms in two commands. The goal is to help developers focus on building apps instead of becoming experts in every infrastructure component. It includes ArgoCD, Cert Manager, Cilium, Traefik, Sealed Secrets, and more - all configured with sensible defaults. Just two commands to deploy - officially supported on Kind or AWS EKS - though any bare Kubernetes cluster should work. Apache 2.0 license.

Hello HN, we're Philip and Louis from Glasskube (https://github.com/glasskube/glasskube). We're working on an open-source package manager for Kubernetes. It's an alternative to tools like Helm or Kustomize, primarily focused on making deploying, updating, and configuring Kubernetes packages simpler and a lot faster. Here is a demo video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIeTHGWsG2c#t=17s) with quick start instructions. Hello HN, we’re Philip Louis from Glasskube (https://github.com/glasskube/glasskube). We are working on a package manager for Kubernetes to simplify the packaging of complex applications with multiple dependencies, ensuring they are installed and kept up-to-date across multiple Kubernetes clusters. Nowadays, it is best practice to use Git as a revision control system for your Kubernetes configurations. Update automation workflows like Renovate or Dependabot can create pull requests for new versions of Docker images and Helm charts, but ensuring these new package versions…
