Prime Number Grid Visualizer

Hello HN, I made this simple notepad for writing down whatever comes to mind. The goal is to force you to not get hung up on what you’ve already written. There’s no formatting, you can’t edit what you’ve typed, you can’t select text or move your caret around. There’s no backspace, delete, undo/redo, or paste. You can’t even see any words except the one you’re currently typing, and when you’re done with it, it fades away. The text is all still there, just invisible. You can save everything you’ve written as a .txt if you want, or just empty your thoughts and let them disappear forever.…

In plain words

Prime Number Grid Visualizer is a tool that creates customizable grids by accepting user-defined rows and columns, then populates and displays them with prime numbers. It serves as a simple utility for visualizing prime number distributions across grid layouts. The tool was created as a personal project and welcomes user feedback for potential enhancements.

A prime number grid visualizer

Prime Grid creates a simple, adjustable grid that plots prime numbers in a left-to-right, top-to-bottom layout. Use it to find interesting visual patterns, do some smart-person math stuff, or maybe find the secret code to the cosmos or whatever. Click into the column input, press and hold the up arrow on your keyboard, and watch thefrom enda.sh

In the maker’s words, at launch

Hello HN. I made this simple little tool that let's you input rows and columns to create a grid, then it plots the grid with prime numbers. I made it for fun, but I'd love suggestions on how I can improve it in any way. Thanks, love you.

Hi HN! I've found this visualization tool immensely helpful over the years for getting an intuition for how an LLM "sees" some piece of text, and with a bit of elbow grease decided to move all compute to client side so I could make it publicly available. I've found it particularly useful for - Understanding exactly how repetition and patterns affect a small LM's ability to predict correctly - Understanding different tokenization patterns and how it affects model output - Getting a general sense of how "hard" different prediction tasks are for GPT-style models Known problems (that I probably…

  • Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…
