What it does
Promptless is an AI teammate that keeps your docs up to date, improving your customer experience and reducing lost revenue. It automatically drafts doc updates whenever a new Pull Request is opened, a support ticket is resolved, or you tag it in Slack.
Turn agent session traces and product changes into governed improvements to your agent instructions and customer-facing docs.
Promptless suggests doc updates when your product changes. You review, edit, and ship. Promptless automatically improves your team’s Skills, Subagents, Hooks, and AGENTS.md with every session trace across your agent fleet. This is the most "make something people want" feature I have ever seen. It solves my problem in a better way than I thought would be possible. Promptless dramatically speeds up my time-to-first-draft. My team literally calls me a 10x tech writer. I love your product. It works incredibly well and basically pays for itself right away. Promptless updates every relevant section of our docs, catching both the latest changes and old spots we'd missed. It feels like magic. This…from promptless.ai

Hi HN! I'm Prithvi—my co-founder Frances and I launched Promptless almost a year ago here (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43092522). It's an AI teammate that watches your workflows—code changes, support tickets, Slack threads, etc.—and automatically drafts doc updates when it spots something that should be documented. Frances and I really appreciated the feedback from our first launch. Today we’re launching Promptless 1.0, which addresses our biggest learnings from the last 12 months. I also made it way easier to try it out. You can tag @promptless on any open-source…

Hey HN! Pilots everywhere are required to keep a logbook of all their flying hours, aircraft, airports, and so on. Since I track everything digitally (some people still just use paper logbooks!), I put together some data visualizations and a few 3D globes to show my flying history. This globe is probably my favourite so far: https://jameshard.ing/pilot/globes/all If you’ve got ideas for other graphs or ways to show this kind of data, I’d love to hear them!

I was the main contributor to workout.lol, an open-source fitness app to easily build a workout routine. The project had traction (1.4k GitHub stars, 95 forks, ~20K visits/month), but was eventually sold due to video licensing hurdles. The new owner stopped maintaining it, and the repo went abandoned. Over the next 9 months, I sent 15 emails to try to save it : no replies. Feature requests & issues were ignored. The community was left with a "broken" tool let's say. I couldn't just let it die So I built the new version from scratch with the same open-source spirit, but a better…
