What it does

A real-time intelligence layer that transforms the chaos of global open data into structured, machine-readable signals. We ingest and normalize live data from over 70,000 feeds across 174 countries, spanning 13 critical domains, from climate and geopolitics to crypto and health. Through our 52+ API connectors, we distill this firehose into 26 citable, derived intelligence products, each with verifiable input citations.

The context window for the world. Pronto connects 71,271 feeds across 232 countries and 99 API connectors, in 13 domains, into one decision-ready feed. Every answer cites its sources. One connection for AI agents, prediction systems, and quantitative models. Climate, energy, markets, economy, security, health, space, research, shipping, crypto, news, forecasts, and cross-domain decision indicators. All from one connection, one format, with sources attached. Real-time cross-domain intelligence: recession risk, grid carbon arbitrage, epidemic growth, aviation stress, cyber-physical exposure, and more. Each indicator fuses multiple independent sources and cites the model behind it. Connect via…from pronto.stream

We built an open-source proxy that sits between coding agents (Claude Code, OpenClaw, etc.) and the LLM, compressing tool outputs before they enter the context window. Demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vFZ6MPrwjw#t=9s. Motivation: Agents are terrible at managing context. A single file read or grep can dump thousands of tokens into the window, most of it noise. This isn't just expensive — it actively degrades quality. Long-context benchmarks consistently show steep accuracy drops as context grows (OpenAI's GPT-5.4 eval goes from 97.2% at 32k to 36.6% at 1M…

  • Hey HN, We recently built Clipto. It’s a tool that lets you search over terabytes of video, audio, and images on your computer, without relying on the cloud. Motivation: we probably all had this similar experience, we know a moment exists in a video or audio, but finding it takes hours scrubbing the timeline. You can send all the media to process in the cloud, but it’s slow, expensive and raises privacy concerns. So we decided to build our own on-device media search engine. How it works (high level): 1. We ingest video, audio, image; normalize formats via ffmpeg; run content analysis to…

  • Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…
