PulseUp
Vercel taught us to pay them a premium, worry about affording any more traffic, and thanking them for the privilege. I built PulseUp so we can move away from server-less. You can deploy any full stack application and database in minutes, directly to your VPS, and sleep well.
PulseUp launched on May 20, 2025 with 13 votes, #1,284 of 7,905 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
PulseUp is a Vercel/Netlify alternative built for your own VPS. Deploy full stack apps from GitHub - PulseUp builds and ships it to your infrastructure, not ours. No lock-in, no surprise costs. Real blue-green deployments, full control, and zero platform BS.
PulseUp is a fitness app for personalized workout plans, gym and cardio tracking, live training with friends, and personal trainer program management.
Train, track your progress, share your moments, and challenge people around you — or on the other side of the world. PulseUp turns solo training into shared discipline. From daily streaks to double XP, nobody gets left behind. See the moment someone in your Crew starts training and keep everyone on track. Join a Party and train live with your Crew, at the same time. Level up by training together -- streaks and achievements count for the whole Crew. Orbit shows your Crew and nearby people training in real time, right on the app's home screen — one more reason to open PulseUp every day. Running, walking, cycling, or swimming -- Live Cardio tracks distance, pace, and calories in real time,…from pulseup.io

FlowershowMar 2026 · flowershow.app · ▲174I'm Rufus, one of the founders of Flowershow. We love markdown and use it everywhere from making websites, to docs, to knowledgebases. Plus AI splits it everywhere now. Got tired of the framework/config/deploy overhead every time we wanted to share a file or put a site online. So we built the thing we wanted. Files in. Website out. "Vercel for Content" is our aspiration - make deploying (markdown) content as fast, seamless and easy as Vercel did for JS. Command line plus you can connect to github repos, use Obsidian via plugin, or drag and drop files. npm i -g…
I open-sourced my Go and Next B2B SaaS Starter (deploy anywhere, MIT)Dec 2025 · github.com · ▲83Hi HN, I'm Mohammed, a technical founder who loves shipping and giving back to the community. I'm open-sourcing the full-stack engine that powers my B2B product, apflow.co. What it is: A production B2B starter with a Go backend and Next.js frontend. Both are fully Dockerized with separate containers. No Vercel. No Supabase. Deploy the whole thing on a $6 VPS, or split frontend and backend across different providers. You own the infrastructure. The problem I was solving: Every SaaS starter I evaluated had the same issue: they locked me into someone else's platform. Vercel for hosting.…

Server Compass 1.42 - Vercel UX + AI MCPSep 2026 · servercompass.app · ▲10Hey HN, I built Server Compass because I got tired of two extremes: paying $200+/month to Vercel/Railway for a polished deploy experience, or wrestling with self-hosted panels (Coolify, CapRover, Dokploy) that eat up half my VPS resources just to run their dashboard. The core idea: A GUI SSH client that gives you Vercel-like deployment UX on your own VPS. Nothing gets installed on your server except your apps – every command runs over SSH from your desktop. What it does: - 1-click deploys from GitHub repos or 160+ pre-built templates (Postgres, WordPress, Ghost, Supabase, n8n,…
/dev/push – An Open Source Vercel/Render Alternative2025 · devpu.sh · ▲5Really, that's it: an open source and self-hostable alternative to Vercel, Render, Netlify, Laravel Cloud and the likes. Obviously simpler, but it should handle the basics pretty well: - Git-based deployments: Push to deploy from GitHub with zero-downtime rollouts and instant rollback. - Multi-language support: Python, Node.js (beta), PHP (soon)... basically anything that can run on Docker. - Environment management: Multiple environments with branch mapping and encrypted environment variables. - Real-time monitoring: Live and searchable build and runtime logs. - Team collaboration:…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Tapflow 2.0▲1,125We built Tapflow for devs, designers, PMs, and tech folks who’ve been sitting on internal docs, templates, and systems — but never productized them. Upload a PDF, notes, or workshop deck, and Tapflow drafts a structured product (with chapters, teaser and pricing plans). It’s good for AI kits, onboarding guides, design systems, and frameworks. You can sell through Stripe, LemonSqueezy, or PayPal. Real-time collaboration is in early beta. No site builder, no LMS — clean design and just focused tools to ship. Fully bootstrapped and just launched on PH today →…
