PyQuest – Python Cheatsheet and a Journey to the Land of Python

I've made another Python cheat sheet tutorial. Yeah yeah, nothing new, I know. But here's the thing: The main idea was not just to write a wall of text telling about everything, but to make it interactive. So that everything would have its own example code snippet, which you could change, run, and see how it worked. And not somewhere in a web version, but on your own computer, in your own environment. Fortunately, Python has the perfect tool for this - the Jupyter Notebook. That's why all chapters are written as separate notebooks and there is an example for each point (well, almost). I…

What it does

In the maker’s words, at launch

I've made another Python cheat sheet tutorial. Yeah yeah, nothing new, I know. But here's the thing: The main idea was not just to write a wall of text telling about everything, but to make it interactive. So that everything would have its own example code snippet, which you could change, run, and see how it worked. And not somewhere in a web version, but on your own computer, in your own environment. Fortunately, Python has the perfect tool for this - the Jupyter Notebook. That's why all chapters are written as separate notebooks and there is an example for each point (well, almost). I originally aimed at complete beginners and tried to go from simple to complex, but I think I overdid it at some point. So it might be just as suitable to refresh knowledge and fill in the gaps for anyone. It also has some useful information for Python-developer interview preparation and a link to the absolutely wonderful Tech Interview Handbook for Coding Interview preparation in case anyone missed it. I would very welcome any constructive criticism, any advice, and of course contributions and GitHub stars :) A little less, but still I will be glad to unreasonable hatred and comments that nobody needs it and that there are hundreds of similar projects on the Internet.

Hi everyone! I just released the Practical Python Projects book! (https://practicalpython.yasoob.me) I am happy to announce the first version as a release candidate. I have poured a lot of love into writing this book and would love to hear what you guys think. (A limited 100% off and discount coupons at the end) This is not a pure beginner book. The book does assume some background Python knowledge. You need to know the basics like methods, functions, classes, and such. If I use something that is not typically covered in beginner Python books, I will explain it before I use it.…

    I wrote a book on Python regular expressions2019 · ▲193

My book titled "Python re(gex)?" is free to download through this weekend [1][2] The book covers both 're' and 'regex' modules, has plenty of examples and chapters also have cheatsheets and exercises. Code snippets, exercises, sample chapters, etc are available on GitHub repo [3] I used pandoc+xelatex [4] to generate the pdf.
