In plain words
Radi is an HTML5 animation application that lets users create animations with text and drawing tools. It includes a Text Block Editor that uses Markdown formatting for adding styled text to animations, and a new Brush tool for drawing freehand strokes that convert to editable vector shapes with variable line widths. The software is designed for creators who want to build animations with both text and hand-drawn elements in a web-based environment.

Text Block Editor window with Markdown format and integrated styles. It's now much easier to write rich text in Radi, as the custom text block layers now use the Markdown format instead of raw HTML. A new Text Block Editor window is available for editing the layer's content. The editor also has an integrated style list for visual setup of text styles (fonts, margins, etc.) Draw freehand brush strokes with the new Brush tool. The strokes become vector shapes, so they stay editable. The line width can vary within a brush stroke. Currently this pressure-like width variation is computed based on the speed of cursor movement; i.e. if you start a stroke slowly, it will be thinner at the start.…from radiapp.com

I made a free animator. Think Adobe Illustrator but for animation2024 · trangram.com · ▲738See animations created by me using Trangram: https://www.trangram.com/showcase I started working on Trangram 7 years ago with a simple idea: a free browser-based vector editor that combines illustration and animation in one place. The goal is to make creating vector graphics and animations as simple as opening a browser. There's nothing to install, no account required, and projects are saved automatically in your browser, so nothing is uploaded to a server. I use Trangram every day for my own illustrations (and occasionally animations). One of the most rewarding parts of…

I have been taking Andrew Ng's Machine Learning course. The lecture module on Neural Networks ends with an intriguing video of the ALVINN autonomous car driving itself along normal roads at CMU in the mid 90s. I was inspired by that video to see what I could build myself. A link to my incomplete write up was posted a couple of weeks ago (ouch!) but I finally finished it and open sourced the code tonight (so you can build your own self driving car).
