RealDex

What it does

RealDex is essentially a Pokédex for the natural world. Instead of pixelated monsters, you're catching real animals with your camera. We put the entire identification process on your device, so it works instantly even if you're miles from the nearest cell tower. It identifies over 10,000 species, handles the GPS logging, and builds a collection of your sightings. If you've ever spotted a weird bird or a cool beetle and wished you could 'save' it, this is for you.

Photograph a real animal and it becomes a card you keep. 1,038 families to fill, 5,077 species identified on your phone without a signal. Free on iPhone and Android.
