remio2025 · remio.ai · ▲541remio is designed to free you from being a manual data porter for AI. By syncing your full context, it builds a zero-effort Second Brain that understands your work as well as you do. We call this AI knowledge base "remio", because we want to build a local first app to "remember every input and output". As knowledge workers, we are stuck copy-pasting context just to get a decent answer. We spend more time digging through scattered Slack threads, Google Docs, and local files than actually doing the work. So here is what we made: 1. Connect once: It automatically indexes your full context—web…

Reor – An AI note-taking app that runs models locally2024 · github.com · ▲411Reor is an open-source AI note-taking app that runs models locally. The four main things to know are: 1. Notes are connected automatically with vector search. You can do semantic search + related notes are automatically connected. 2. You can do RAG Q&A on your notes using the local LLM of your choice. 3. Embedding model, LLM, vector db and files are all run or stored locally. 4. Point it to a directory of markdown files (like an Obsidian vault) and it works seamlessly alongside Obsidian. Under the hood, Reor uses Llama.cpp (node-llama-cpp integration), Transformers.js and Lancedb to power…

I realized that the PDF engines of modern desktop browsers (PDFium and PDF.js) support JavaScript with enough I/O primitives to make a basic game like Tetris. It was a bit tricky to find a union of features that work in both engines, but in the end it turns out that showing/hiding annotation "fields" works well to make monochrome pixels, and keyboard input can be achieved by typing in a text input box. All in all it's quite janky but a nice reminder of how general purpose PDF scripting can be. The linked PDF is all ASCII so you can just open it in a text editor, or have a look at…

21st.dev▲1,211I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!
