Redesign by Nodewave

Free and open‑source, stop designing. Describe.

Redesign by Nodewave launched on April 29, 2026 with 116 votes, #324 of 21,248 launches that month and more than 95% of that year's launches.

What it does

Redesign was born from a need to create branded and premium social media posts without a design background, a huge budget, or wasting hours trying to do something that should be effortless. We built it as an internal tool first. The trick: let Claude pull from our codebase, not generate from scratch. Hence the name, React + Design. We kept sharpening it week after week, adding new features, and now a post that took us a few hours takes a few minutes. We made it open-source, free for anyone.

A free, open-source, MIT-licensed tool that lets Claude design LinkedIn, Instagram and Reddit posts using your own codebase. Built by Nodewave.

If Claude already knows your codebase, it already knows your brand. Redesign lets it design posts in code, preview them live, then ship to LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, wherever you’re trying to show up. One terminal command. Sets up the canvas app and auto-registers the MCP with Claude Code. Tools not appearing in Claude Code after restart? Run npx @nodewave-io/redesign connect Tell Claude what you want. Layers, alignment, validation, then saved. Requires Node 20+ and Claude Code. Redesign never sees your API key. Every design tool before this starts with a blank canvas. Redesign starts with what you already built. Your site already has the cards, the buttons, the icons, the charts.…from nodewave.io

I originally built this app to organize and reuse interesting React + Tailwind components I came across on Twitter, inspired by the shadcn/ui approach. Later, a friend started contributing their own components, and it got me thinking—this could grow into something bigger, like an NPM for design engineers to share and use components. Would love to hear your thoughts!

  • With social media and now AI, its important to keep the indie web alive. There are many people who write frequently. Blogosphere tries to highlight them by fetching the recent posts from personal blogs across many categories. There are two versions: Minimal (HN-inspired, fast, static): https://text.blogosphere.app/ Non-minimal: https://blogosphere.app/ If you don't find your blog (or your favorite ones), please add them. I will review and approve it.
