ReGenNexus Core – A Protocol for Universal App/Device Communication
Just open-sourced the core of ReGenNexus - a protocol to make any software/device interoperable. Current test examples include: • App integration • Multi-agent coordination • Security patterns • Simple connection templates Try the tests: git clone https://github.com/ReGenNow/ReGenNexus cd tests && pytest -v Looking for: - Feedback on the protocol design - Real-world use cases to prioritize - Contributors to expand test coverage Tech: Python-based, transport-agnostic

Inverting Agent Model (App as Clients, Chat as Server and Reflection)Feb 2026 · github.com · ▲24Hello HN. I’d like to start by saying that I am a developer who started this research project to challenge myself. I know standard protocols like MCP exist, but I wanted to explore a different path and have some fun creating a communication layer tailored specifically for desktop applications. The project is designed to handle communication between desktop apps in an agentic manner, so the focus is strictly on this IPC layer (forget about HTTP API calls). At the heart of RAIL (Remote Agent Invocation Layer) are two fundamental concepts. The names might sound scary, but remember this is a…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
