ReleasePad

Communicate your product changes better

ReleasePad launched on March 23, 2022 with 6 votes, #1,291 of 3,153 launches that month and more than 50% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 4 years on.

What it does

With ReleasePad you can communicate better your product changes like new product updates, improvements or fixes. Your users will perceive more value from your product reducing the churning.

ReleasePad drafts release notes from what you shipped, in language customers understand. You approve, it publishes to your app, your changelog page, and a feed for AI assistants. Free to start.

Help your customers see what's new and why it matters. Turn new features, improvements, and fixes into clear announcements that help customers get more from your product. Share updates inside your app and on a branded changelog, with less time spent writing. You didn't. Building got faster than ever with AI, and writing release notes by hand still takes time, so it slips. Features go live and nobody hears. Support keeps answering questions about things you fixed weeks ago. Customers open a quiet changelog and assume the product stood still. People rarely leave over a missing feature. They leave over silence. Make every update a reason to keep choosing your product. Switch between light and…from releasepad.io

Hi HN! I made many small web games in the past with Unity or Phaser. But this time I wanted to make something completely on my own. So I coded a basic game framework in plain JavaScript, and used it to make Almost Pong. This was a really fun project that taught me a lot about JavaScript, and I plan to make more minimalist games with this framework. Interesting fact: Almost Pong doesn't load any assets, all sprites and sounds are generated with code. Happy to answer questions, and please let me know if you have any feedback on the game. Thanks!
