Bubble.io plugin creating amazing chips from repeating group
Repeating Group as Chips launched on November 18, 2022 with 87 votes, #542 of 3,471 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.
What it does
In Bubble.io, sometimes you need to create chips from a repeating group. However, this is not possible by default. With our plugin, this is very easy. Just place the plugin on the page, set the ID attribute of your repeating group and everything goes fine.
Create Repeating groups with resizable Chips that have the correct spacing between them. No more ugly repeating groups whose content doesn't perfectly fit the chips.

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I made a thing! In 2014, I was holding a stack of iPhones and thought to myself: "Hey, if I had each phone display a playing card, I could click a button and they'd shuffle themselves" I pared that idea all the way down to this: trading cards made of e-ink displays. Right now, each card costs me about $20 each, but with only a bit more scale, I think I can get that down to $10. In doing this project, I learned how to design electronics and circuit boards. I learned Rust and wrote my first driver, I upped my CAD skills, 3D printed, and did my first resin casting. I generated the images on the…
