Repertoire

Know what to wear. Keep your closet to yourself.

What it does

Most wardrobe apps ask you to create an account, upload your photos to their servers, and sync everything to the cloud before you've even tried them. Repertoire asks you to open the app. That's it. Catalogue what you own, get outfit suggestions built from pieces you actually have, and track what you actually wear, all stored on your phone. No account, no cloud, ever.

Repertoire is a private, local-first wardrobe and outfit planner. No account, no cloud. Join the early access list.

Catalog what you own, receive outfit suggestions that make sense, and see what you actually wear — all held privately on your phone. No account. No cloud. No one sees your closet but you. That's the whole of it. Everything else happens on your phone. Photograph or import each piece. Note its category, color, and season. Your wardrobe, organized in one place. A complete outfit — top, bottom, shoes, and beyond — assembled from what you already own. Not to your taste? Shuffle again. Log what you wore in a single tap. See what's in constant rotation, and what hasn't left the hanger. Repertoire is a working prototype, not a finished product. I'm looking for a small group of people to try it…from enchanting-eclair-f96ba7.netlify.app

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
