Repohistory 2.0

As a maintainer of a few open-source projects, I’ve always wanted to better understand the traffic sources and trends for my repos. Unfortunately, GitHub’s built-in analytics only show limited data from the past 14 days, which doesn’t provide much insight. That’s why I built Repohistory, a better GitHub repo analytics platform. It automatically fetches and stores your traffic data every day, so you’re no longer limited to just 14 days. The dashboard shows you: - Daily star growth - Total views & clones over time - Top referral websites - Most-viewed pages in your repo So if you have any…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

  • Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…
