Turns out we didn't want a public podcast, but "the podcast" gave us a reason to keep in touch and share stories/thoughts. Google Drive was terrible for our needs. Record in one app, then upload. No notifications, bad organization. The worst part was when responding to something specific, I'd have to manually timestamp it and repeat their point before…

Share voice messages with people you care about. Talk when it works for you, without scheduling or pressure. Roads allows you to use your voice to stay connected with the world. The app is designed beautifully and is really intuitive. I first started using this app with a friend and it's a lot of fun. We use this app now instead of texting or voicemails since we are both traveling and it makes keeping up with each other a lot easier. One of the coolest apps I've used in a long time. Many years ago, I made VJ softwares (to mix live visuals in clubs) for unexpected platforms like the Game Boy Advance, the Playstation 2 and the Raspberry Pi. This year, I’m back with a new web-app: Pikimov. Inspired by Photopea (a free Photoshop clone), I created this web-based motion design & video editor as an alternative to After Effects, to fill empty void. It's free, without signup, without cloud uploads (your files stay on your machine), and your projects are not used for AI models training.
