Although this template engine is basically intended to use with Rocal framework to craft views, it can be used anywhere with Rust. Let's begin with syntax of Rocal UI. Here is a simple example including variables, if-else control, and for-loop control. view ! { <div class= "container" > <h1 class= "title" > { title } </h1> if user . id <= 10 { <p> { "You are an early user!" } </p> <a href= { reward_url } > { "Click here to get rewards!" } </a> } else if user . id <= 20 { <p> { "You are kind of an early user." } </p> <a href= { sort_of_reward_url } > { "Check it out for your reward." } </a> } else { <p> { "You are a regular user." } </p> } <hr/> <ul> for article in articles { <li><a href= {…from github.com

Talanoa▲341Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hi everyone, I built PyXL — a hardware processor that executes a custom assembly generated from Python programs, without using a traditional interpreter or virtual machine. It compiles Python -> CPython Bytecode -> Instruction set designed for direct hardware execution. I’m sharing an early benchmark: a GPIO test where PyXL achieves a 480ns round-trip toggle — compared to 14-25 micro seconds on a MicroPython Pyboard - even though PyXL runs at a lower clock (100MHz vs. 168MHz). The design is stack-based, fully pipelined, and preserves Python's dynamic typing without static type restrictions.…
