Route mapping: Snicket app

Record and retrace your travel routes.

What it does

Snicket is a route mapping app for traveling that records the paths you take in real time and lets you save, retrace, organize, and share them. Perfect for city breaks, long walks abroad, everyday exploring, or discovering new corners of your hometown. Start walking and Snicket quietly captures your entire route — distance, duration, starting point, endpoint, and the exact roads you followed. Want to relive a trip, revisit a favorite area, or lead someone along the same route?

Hey HN! I wanted to share something I built over the last few weeks: isometric.nyc is a massive isometric pixel art map of NYC, built with nano banana and coding agents. I didn't write a single line of code. Of course no-code doesn't mean no-engineering. This project took a lot more manual labor than I'd hoped! I wrote a deep dive on the workflow and some thoughts about the future of AI coding and creativity: http://cannoneyed.com/projects/isometric-nyc
