It has a Python backend that is able to “proxy" your existing RSS feeds and after learning a bit about your interests, starts recommending similar articles and filtering out the rest. While, of course, always including some random articles for discovery. It uses LLM embeddings and machine learning to recommend similar articles. Embedding models allow for a new era of recommendation systems, where a large user base is not required, since allowing for self-hosting. Feel free to try it on my server or self-host it yourself. All feedback and contributions are welcome.

Howdy! RSSfeedASAP scratches my own itch. I run a regional podcasting directory which gets dozens of messy submission for podcasts. Often they don't even include an xml file and me being a good samaritan I sometimes do the manual work and find it myself. I got tired of that manual work and decided to build a microapp. RSSfeedASAP is this app and I decided to release it in case someone else finds any use in it.

There's lots of improvements I'd like to make but thought I should get some feedback first to see if anyone's interested in it. The main page just shows the most recent feed items (currently from only the 3 feeds I've added myself), but the idea is that it'll show the most popular items aggregated from all users. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano.
