Rstructure

Turn messy notes into structured output in seconds

What it does

Rstructure lets you build reusable rules that transform any text into clean structured consistent output. Unlike most AI chatbots where you have to give instructions and the output will vary everytime Rstructure fixes that — you write an instruction once and get consistent results every single time based on the instructions you define. Only thing that can limit rstructure is your imagination since its uses are limitless!!

    Struct – A Feed-Centric Chat Platform2024 · struct.ai · ▲298

Hi HN! I’m Jason, a product designer at Struct Chat. At Struct, we're frustrated by the clutter, distractions, and inefficiencies plaguing existing chat platforms like Slack and Discord. We've built a radical new chat platform that leverages threads, feeds, and AI to help alleviate these problems, and give you back more time in your day. Struct uses a thread-first approach to keep conversations on-topic. It applies AI-generated titles and summaries to help you decide what's worth your attention. Threads are then organized in a real-time feed, keeping all your conversations up-to-date and at…

    Structured output from LLMs without reprompting2023 · automorphic.ai · ▲174

Built a tool for transforming unstructured data into structured outputs using language models (with 100% adherence). If you're facing problems getting GPT to adhere to a schema (JSON, XML, etc.) or regex, need to bulk process some unstructured data, or generate synthetic data, check it out. We run our own tuned model (you can self-host if you want), so, we're able to have incredibly fine grained control over text generation. • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

  • Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!
