What it does

SADFinder is a native macOS file manager for people who miss Windows Explorer. Press Enter to open folders, Backspace to go up, Delete to move files to Trash, and Cmd-L to type any path. It adds restored tabs, quick per-folder filtering, real Desktop control, and Rectangle-style window snapping. 7-day no-card trial, then $5/month, $29/year, or $49 lifetime. Requires macOS 15 or later.

Exactly what that key should always have done. Need to paste a location? Click the path bar, type any path, press Enter, and you're there. Cmd-T opens a new tab.
