Scout Niches

Find the faceless YouTube niches you can still win.

What it does

ScoutNiches helps you find faceless YouTube niches worth building. We research and rank niches using real market signals — competition, channel growth, publishing activity, audience demand, monetization potential, and production difficulty — so you can choose your niche based on evidence instead of guesswork.

Stop guessing your faceless YouTube niche. ScoutNiches ranks 150+ faceless YouTube niches from 100,000+ analysed videos on real RPM, saturation, trend and AI-production fit — refreshed daily with real YouTube data. Evidence-backed, never AI-predicted. Includes a vetted software toolkit.

All 150 , scored on measured and analyst signals — what each one pays, how crowded it already is, and how to make money from it. You can already generate a script, a voice, a face-free edit and an auto-post schedule. None of it answers the only question that decides whether the channel earns: which niche? A niche "feels" underserved. Nine months later you find out it pays $2 per 1,000 views and three incumbents own the search results. Faceless compounds slowly. Most channels that fail quit at months 4–6 — after the effort, before the payoff. Picking wrong is expensive in exactly the currency you can't refund. Most niche tools publish estimates without saying so. An estimated RPM and a…from scoutniches.com

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
