What it does
Set your distraction keywords — YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, Reddit. The moment you visit a matching site, ScreenCurb kills your browser process. No warning. No "are you sure?" popup. The tab is gone. The key feature is Force Mode: lock everything down for a set period. You can't quit the app, can't uninstall it, can't remove blocked keywords — only add more. You threw away the key. On purpose. Built by a solo developer who lost years of deep work to "just a quick scroll."

Hi all, I kept wasting time on social media, even though I’d promised myself I’d stay focused. Regular site blockers didn’t help. I needed something that felt annoying enough to break the habit. That’s how the idea came up: make the blocker ask me to say something embarrassing out loud before it lets me back in. If I actually have to yell “I’m a loser” into my mic.
