Shareli

Instant, anonymous, E2EE text & file sharing across devices.

What it does

Have you ever needed to send a quick link or text from your laptop to your phone, and ended up WhatsApping yourself? Shareli solves this. It is a real-time sharing platform that uses WebSockets and End-to-End Encryption (AES-GCM). There is no database, no sign-ups, and all data self-destructs the moment the timer runs out. It's the fastest and most secure way to bridge your devices.

Share text, files, code snippets & voice notes online free — no sign-up, no app needed. End-to-end encrypted, self-destructing messages. Works on any phone, laptop or tablet.

About Shareli: Shareli is a secure, browser-based platform for sharing text, code, files, voice notes, and links across devices. No account required — create a room, share the link, and start transferring information instantly. Optionally add a password. Anyone with the correct password can decrypt messages — the server never sees it. Control when you receive notifications. Content is never shown — only "New secure messagefrom shareli.online

    PinSend – Share text between devices using a PIN(P2P, no login)2025 · pinsend.app · ▲62

Hi HN, I built [PinSend](https://pinsend.app) — a free web app for instantly sharing text between devices, using a simple 6-character PIN. - No login, no account, no install. - Peer-to-peer WebRTC transfer (no server relay, no cloud). - Cross-platform: works on any modern browser. I built PinSend for myself while developing web apps—I was always copying ngrok links and sending error logs between my laptop and mobile devices. I wanted a frictionless, instant way to move links and text between anything. *Demo:* 1. Open https://pinsend.app on your phone & laptop 2. Paste or…

    A file server for Android, end-to-end encryption, web access2020 · ▲20

Recently I've been playing with an idea of a file server on my Android phone, with a web browser access. I wanted to replace: - AirDroid - sending files to my own PC or laptop. - ShareIt - sending big files over the local network to my family devices. - Dropbox - sharing select files with other people over the Internet. Requirements I had in mind: - end-to-end encryption, no sign ups, no accounts, no passwords - local connection if devices are on the same network - asynchronous access, server should work seamlessly in the background This week I finally managed to stitch the pieces together…

Hello HN! I found that picking out plausible but diverse skin tones for my digital art and game development projects was kind of difficult, and I got curious about if there was a way to define a color space that made it easy. I've built a color picker and procedural generation algorithm based on the space as well as a bunch of other fun js features and demos throughout the page that use the equations. If you find it interesting, I have lots of explanations of how I built it and what properties the space has. The methodology might be a bit shaky, but hopefully the result is as helpful for…

  • I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
