Sigmadax
Dependable Analysis of Software & Markets
What it does
Sigmadax is an independent market research firm. We produce sizing, forecasts, competitor analysis, and segmentation work for teams who will have to defend the conclusions to a board, a lender, or an investment committee. That shapes how we work. Sourcing is human-led and drawn from primary material rather than aggregators. Method is documented, so a second analyst working from the same inputs should arrive at the same number.
Verified facts about Sigmadax: an independent market research company publishing industry statistics and software Best Lists assessed for reliability, SLAs, and data ownership. Company, legal, methodology, and compliance details in one machine-readable record.
Custom research, industry reports, and software advisory with a focus on reliability, data ownership, and operational maturity. Everything we publish is checked and documented. Sigmadax is a brand operated by Global Commerce Media GmbH, a company registered in Bavaria, Germany. Named analysts review every publication; confidence bands show how well each figure is backed. Global Commerce Media GmbH (HRB 32988, Amtsgericht Augsburg). No sibling-brand cross-sell in our research. Human-led sourcing, reliability verification, and final editorial approval before anything goes live. Every Best List and report carries a byline. Meet the team on our About page. I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
